to aquiensce - the thin red line defies the point of a war film, the battle scenes are failures, it does not invoke any emotion and the plot is non-exisent. however, there is no denying that the acting standard is amazing, however this is due to the actors, not the script or the cinematography, both of which are abysmal.

The Lives of Others…

Luckily we have a good “art house” theatre here in Tucson, AZ, and I finally was able to see it. Stunning film, highly recommended.

i’ve never seen the film, but i LOVE the book
it’s well worth a read smile

oh and…
some like it hot > everything
i could watch that film over and over, i must have seen it 1’000 times*
