So as most of you now probably know, The Gospel Of Goro Adachi is avaliable to hear in all its final mastered glory!! Just go to itunes and its there for 79p, a bargain if I ever saw one. I’d like to hear some thoughts on it, after all it has to be one of the most heavily anticipated of the new songs since its debut at the beginning of that 9 minute sampler. For me it doesn’t disappoint. The most radically different song The Boxer Rebellion have recorded, there are no guitars and the song itself is completely electronic-led. The song sounds almost spiritual, the synths and electronics are like a ghostly beauty that envelopes everything and the whole thing just sounds glorious. A brave attempt at something different as well.
I beleive it may have been taken down from iTunes. I have no idea why either so we will endeavour to find out for everyone. I have also noticed that you cannot buy TGOGA or listen to it at realwordrecords.com, who compiled the Long Way Down sountrack.

I was only asking for people to be a little bit more subtle if they are going to swap files in order to protect themselves from any issues in the future if the band signs their music to a label. Its really for your benefit. Technically, if you share TGOGA then Real World Records (who licensed it for the compilation) could take action, if they were that way inclined. Do you see my point?
I understand you perfectly. And I understand band’s point too. Case in point it’s a bit incredible.
I didn’t buy ‘The Gospel Of Goro Adachi’ when it was available and, just like I said in another topic, I’ll wait to listen to it when the second album will be released (I hope the song was in the final tracklist). The reason: I hate to preview many tracks before the album will get released. I like to be surprised when I listened to an album. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate a lot that the guys upload forthcoming songs to their Myspace and website (a BIG thank you) but I would prefer to keep some excitement despite the long time waiting (I suppose I’m in a minority here, aren’t I?)...

I don’t know if you’re a minority, but I join you. As said on another topic I’m personally more interested with songs which won’t be released anymore (I hardly think that the b-sides from the “In pursuit” EP will be on the second album, will they ?) than by other stuff.
